Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement enters on Friday evening, September 13th 2013,  a most solemn Shabbat in Israel. 

This Day of Atonement we remember in fasting and prayer those that will be cut off from Life eternally without the covering blood which saves, atoning for and remitting sins. 

Please remember transportation is not available this day as most streets will be for walking only with the exception of emergency vehicles.

Praise and worship will be led in the Jerusalem Prayer Tower this erev Shavuot, Tuesday May 14th at 7:15PM.  Please come and join us.

Also, there will be a Tarrying for Pentecost watch from 8PM through midnight on Shavuot, Wednesday May 15th.  Be prepared to wait in the presence of the LORD.  Welcome!

*  Prayer in the Ben Hinnoam Valley on the grass in front of the Youth Music Center 12:30PM--4PM, Yom Kippur, Wed Sept 26th. Facilitated by Richard and Feryl.

*  Psalm Watch with the Ellards reopens Tuesday, October 2nd at 6:30PM--8PM in the Prayer Tower.

40 Days of Slichote before Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement

August 19th, 2012 is Rosh Chodesh, the opening of the Biblical 6th month.

If you were driving or walking through Jerusalem last night, you may have noticed Rosh Chodesh celebrations held on street corners of the main streets.

During this month of Elul, the Biblical sixth month, the Jewish community will pray early each morning, seeking God's forgiveness.

For 40 days these prayers called Slichot will continue, calling upon God's mercy and culminating on the Day of Atonement.

Praise God!  He has called and enabled a team effort of watchmen and women to stand by night in the Prayer Tower, covering its watches 24 hours a day for the 3 months of April, May, and June 2012!  

Please note that our reception is covered to welcome all visitors to the Tower 8AM--8PM.  From 8PM--8AM we ask you to call ahead to arrange joining the evening and night watches.

Join with us in prayer and thanksgiving to the LORD for raising up instrumentalists, intercessors, and worshipers and dancers to join us ministering in the Tower, both
